Copycat Starbucks Egg Bites (Baked!)
These are just like the Starbucks Egg bites and are surprisingly easy to make at home! I have been wanting to remake these for a while, but was worried because I don’t have a sous vide or instant pot. I was up for the challenge of making them in the oven, and I’m so glad I did! They taste absolutely amazing and require just a few ingredients and kitchenware. Basically, run don’t walk to the kitchen and make these!
These egg bites are made with cottage cheese, eggs, cheese, bacon, and hot sauce – the exact ingredients in the Starbucks version! You could easily remove the bacon to make these vegetarian.
What you’ll need:
To make these Copycat Starbucks Egg Bites, you’ll just need a few simple ingredients, and a blender – that’s it! Super easy, right!?
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese
- eggs
- Monterey jack cheese
- Gruyere cheese (optional)
- bacon
- salt
- hot sauce
How to Make:
- This recipe is actually very simple! You’ll need 6 ramikens (like this $14 set) and a high sided baking pan (like this one). Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and boil 3-4 cups of water. Whisk together all ingredients, besides bacon, of the egg bites. Mix in the bacon at the end. Grease each ramiken, then fill with about 1/4 cup egg mixture. Place ramikens on a high sided baking pan (sides about 1″ high). Carefully pour in boiling water, until it covers about 1/2″ up the ramiken. Cover the whole thing with aluminum foil. Bake for 28-30 minutes.
